Planning for Demolition: Why the Work Starts Long Before the First Wall Comes Down

Demolition looks like the most straightforward work on any project. A structure is standing, and then it is gone. In reality, the moment a machine touches a building is the very end of a long process, and the quality of that process determines whether the demolition goes safely, legally, and on schedule, or whether it turns into a hazard, a violation, or a costly delay.
